Iqbal Memorial Government College is a reputed institution of Daganbhuanya Upazila of Feni district. Iqbal Memorial College was established by Abdul Awal Mintu, a distinguished businessman and educationist of this area, in order to provide better education to the people of this area. His younger brother Iqbal Hossain succumbed to incurable cancer and died before completing his school life. He established this college to perpetuate his memory. Since its inception, the aim of this institution was to spread the light of education and this institution is fulfilling this task properly.

According to the wishes and decision of the honorable Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina last 08/08/2018 AD; This institution was nationalized on It is now a full-fledged government college. Science, Humanities and Business Education and Business Management and Technology (BMT) branches are now running in this institution. Besides, Graduate (Pass) BA/ BSS/ BBS and Graduate (Honours) courses in Accountancy and Management are offered. In this institution, every student will acquire proper knowledge and will be ready to devote himself to the goal of building Sonar Bangla of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by forming good morals and values - for this purpose, the learned faculty, office assistants and office assistants of this college are working tirelessly. It is our only aim and objective to educate every student from this college to dedicate himself to the service of the country and the nation.
